Dealership "repaired" a recall issue that lead to other issues the afternoon I picked truck up, namely, my truck spontaneously shut off while I was on I-10.

Dealership denies all responsibility leading me to bring truck to trusted third party mechanic who opens hood in front of me and shows me where MAP sensor wire was CUT with a wire cutter. He replaced it in 2 minutes and didn't charge me.

Furious because the "problem" manifested itself while I was driving 60 mph with infant in the backseat.

Name does not check out.

ETA: I would get the dealership to comp the third party mechanics work regardless cause that really is dangerous.

Also allow the third party mechanic to drag his nuts along the forehead of the technician at the dealership who “cut a wrong zip-tie”.

Despite being a lawyer, I'm not naturally litigious.

Did you at least get pictures of the cut wires for documentation just in case something else rears it's ugly head from the dealerships "repair"?

Yeah, I have pictures of the cut wires. I know that my damages are $0. I'm not fishing for approval to sue them. I just don't want a scumbag dealership to get away with something that has the potential to literally kill someone without anyone knowing.

What approach would you suggest? Internet reviews? Complaints to manufacturer? Billboard?
