Man, Sports talk on WWL has been terrible. Too many commercials, and just not interesting! However, no real alternatives!

Station sucks. T-Bob on 1350 is the only worthwhile personality on any of the WWL stations.

Too much host, not enough callers. Deke and Bobby don't know when to shut up and stop saying the same thing over and over and how to have a conversation with a caller when they do manage to let one through. Gets tiring after awhile.

We have this thread just about every month. 
The only guy that "likes" WWL is the guy that works as a call screener there.

Have to agree. A lot of people hate on Bobby Hebert for the wrong reasons. He is paid to be who he is. A colorful character who adds some drama, but knows sports. Deke was good 10 years ago, but the further he has gotten removed from Buddy D. the worse he gets. Before Buddy died Deke was his understudy and was kept in check. Now is nothing more than a loudmouth blow hard who thinks he knows everything and talks down to callers.

I will go step further and I doubt many agree. There is a up and coming star in New Orleans radio and its T-Bob Hebert.
