Women have always been your worst take on AEW all your other points on AEW are at least arguable……WWE women’s division is better than the same in AEW and it’s not close. The match last night will be women’s match of the year easily unless WWE tops it themselves later in the year.

AEW has at most 2-3 women that WWE would want today. That’s a fact. Neither of those two or three are name Deeb or Taya.

On Sasha…..since Banks left WWE all the AEW fans claim she is the best women’s wrestler on the planet. They all want her at some PPV called Forbidden Door…..so she got good cause she left WWE I reckon.

Last night was great. Charolette and Rhea stole the show. That last match was just unreal, but I was expecting that.

Last night was a great card and well executed. I know I’m in the minority but I wanted the Usos to retain and Jey have a moment. I think it’s kind of dumb that Sammie and KO are now tag champs and I guess will feud with the street profits?

It was an entertaining show for anyone 5-75 years old

Seems like I've stirred up a hornets nest which I really didn't want to do. I'm working my way through responses from this morning. (Got a late start to the day after staying up until 5 to rewatch Night 1.)

Storm could become a great wrestler and like I said earlier she could have had bangers all over the territory with Charlotte, Lynch, Bayley, Asuka, etc.
Absolutely. With HHH in charge she would have easily been on the card this weekend. It really is a shame that she stuck working with "talent" who can't really push her to her full potential. Her matches are one of the few that I will actually watch. This Outcasts NWO rehash is below all three of them.

No such thing as AEW developmental and the Nightmare Factory is not it
And that is the problem. Tony relies on buying the people WWE/WWE rejects, Indy wrestlers who have no business going from the indies right to Dynamite, and those who's contacts have expired and prefer to work once a week (if they can get screen time) with no real love for the business.

REALLY? Are you going to claim Becky and Alexa's rookie matches weren't on national TV either? What about Bianca?

and is a better wrestler than 90% of the feds roster.

She couldn't even get time on NXT. (OTOH Drake worked several programs including one with DiBiase.)

But you prove my point, as soon as she’s gone now she’s Botcha.
She earned that reputation years before she left. Instead of killing herself along the way she nearly paralyzed Saraya.

both WWE & AEW do stuff I like and both do stuff that bore me
RAW really needs to go back to 2 hours after they sign this new rights deal. House Shows cost half as much and have twice the wrestling. I wish Verne had been more forward thinking and stopped Vince at the Mississippi. The WWE we're used to wouldn't be what it is today if Verne didn't let the AWA be a quasi developmental territory for Vince in the mid-late 80s.

I lurk on these wrestling threads a lot and only rarely post. The dudes who start the WWE vs AEW stuff are as boring as they are exhausting. It’s all just rambling talking points they’ve seen elsewhere on Twitter/Reddit/podcast or whatever that they word vomit here to try to win some weird argument that doesn’t need to be won. Anything that’s said, on either side, has been said over and over before. There’s literally never a unique, legitimate thought. Ever.

If y’all want a palette cleanser to talk about before night 2 starts and while the basketball game is on…I actually went on the Jericho Cruise a couple months ago. AMA.

Spoiler Warning... tonight's order of matches (as of last night):

- Brock Lesnar vs. Omos
- Women's tag team showcase
- Gunther vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre
- Asuka vs. Bianca
- Edge vs. Finn Balor
- Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes

Chad Patton likely officiating the 1st and last matches of the night due to being Brock and Roman's personal referee. With that factored in, the Brock match is likely to be short.

With only 6 matches (though hell in a cell will go long) we’ll likely get at least one surprise segment. Bob lashley challenge? La knight come out and stone cold stuns him? Free agent Jay White shows up?

I'll be surprised if Louisiana Knight doesn't make some kind of appearance, especially with rumors of him getting a push post mania.

I would imagine Trips loved the mystique of the "Raw After Mania" where the surprise debuts/call-ups happen

so I don't expect someone like Jay White or Bron Breakker to appear tonight... that'll be tomorrow

the Stone Cold stuff though... absolutely... maybe something Orton related too (though he too could be a Raw After Mania surprise)
