The fact that they took a ratings win over Developmental as a big deal is a bit of an admission that their own product is inferior.

That’s the revisionist history bullshite I’m talking about. NXT at time of launch on USA was being positioned as not developmental, but as a “third brand” it’s only when they got their arse kicked-despite great talent there, did it magically revert back to “oh it’s developmental.”

They could have branded it as a 3rd brand but everyone on earth knows it was and forever will be developmental.

Also, AEW sucks cock

A solid pickup from across the pond that is better for Tony than the Saraya/Ruby/Athena signings. Not an AEW developmental person though.

No such thing as AEW developmental and the Nightmare Factory is not it.

Charlottes rookie matches weren’t on national TV[

bullshite narrative.

Taya Should eat a salad or 10 (maybe be an accountability buddy with Athena), couldn't get on NXT TV, and was cut. (I have met both her and Drake and they are both great people.)

She’ll eat a salad when Kevin Owned does. Another wrestler better than 90% of the Feds roster.

Botcha Banks...the one who ended Paige's career (again Tony doesn't seem to give a shite about her or Bryan's health) and will have a subsection on AEW Botches. That's if she doesn't end up religated to ROH and Rampage like every other bag of damaged goods Tony enjoys buying.

I’m not even a fan, but she “main evented” Maina last year, you mark. She’s a horsewoman and all the blah blah blah

But you prove my point, as soon as she’s gone now she’s Botcha.

These takes are so fricking predictable, that’s why E drone is a term.

The best wrestler on the female roster is Natty.
Becky Lynch isn’t very good nor good on the mic but she is hot. Alexa Bliss can’t wrestle, Nor Carmella, Eva Marie (though she’s gone again) Nia Jax, Shotzi. Trish Stratus, Liv Morgan, etc.

Hell the fact that they have to bring back Lita(who in reality would get worked in the ring by most of the AEW women’s roster even in her prime) shows how fricking thin WWE roster really is.

Lita was in talks with AEW before she decided to sign with WWE. This is public knowledge, bud.

Seriously, if you like AEW then watch it. If you don’t, then don’t. Not really worth arguing about it. It and WWE are really two different products.

Please don’t mistake my defense of AEW as being anti Fed. WWE has plenty of wrestlers that I like. In fact, some of my favorite wrestlers, including the guy who got me back into professional wrestling, Cody Rhodes, is there.

I saw a guy react to a post about Rhea being with Buddy at WM by tweeting "Please come back to WWE, Buddy, Youre being poorly booked and wasted in AEW."

I was smh like the guys a fkn champion in one of the best factions in wrestling.

These are the ppl that im talkin about, them and the ppl who act like Tony / Vince could do no wrong booking/creative wise. You can be a fan and still be critical of some of the shite they book.

Cody Rhodes is the most important American wrestler of the last decade my guy. And his journey caught my attention based off The Ringers article on him, five years ago or so. But my list of WWE male wrestlers I like includes:
AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Edge, Finn/Prince, Eli/LA Knight, Rey, Brock, Ziggler, Drew & more.
But Cody is THE guy in professional wrestling for me. His presentation is his own creation, he’s got a lot of old school wrestling in him, he tells a great story. He is a giant risk taker in the ring and will light himself of fire to give the fans a show.

So frick your eyeroll lol

I really dislike the tribalism in wrestling

no company is perfect

both WWE & AEW do stuff I like and both do stuff that bore me

it's all subjective... I'll pay attention to the stuff I like in both companies and tune out the stuff I dislike (mostly by cracking wise with Wishn & G ITTs)

the fact we have the last 2-3 pages of this thread just people trying to shite on AEW is unnecessary

match with Lita and Trish was cringe, the jumbotrons not working didn't help the match at all. No one could see what was happening, so a lot of people went and got food, myself included.

Not being able to see it might've been for the best

It wasn't awful by any means but it wasn't good and it not being on the screens might've kept the boo birds out

I don't post about wrestling much if at all because of the unnecessary drama in the fandom. What I love about wrestling is even in down periods, I can usually find at least one part of the show that entertains me. Same thing with when a company like AEW comes around - more to choose from leads to more things I enjoy throughout.

Last night's Mania was very, very entertaining for me. Good balance of everything I appreciate in wrestling. Had two very good storylines with the Usos/Sami/KO and the Mysterio saga. Two all-time matches in Women's Championship and Tag Team Championship bouts. A very strong undercard with the Men's Fatal Four Way Tag and Rollins/Paul both shining.

Great product right now and excited for night two.

Yesterday was awesome to watch, gave us all a good showing. Hope they try to replicate the good storylines and action tonight!

Also Mark Henry's theme music is literally one of the best themes I've ever heard, lord

Hopefully be some returns tonight since there weren’t any last night
