How is this possible

quote:

Paul Levesque says it was Nick Khan's idea to find the Dusty Rhodes watch, and Bruce Prichard tracked it down.

Alot of people. It felt like the phrase "once vince is gone" has been repeatedly used

Nah I don’t think Samantha is prompted the finishes. Even during the Riccochet matches she reacts like that. In the same sense, Pat tells them he doesn’t want to know the finishes as well

Wonder if they found THE watch or talked to some watch experts and found the same model.

It’s better for her not to know. Her reactions seem real which they should be…..

I believe it was the same exact model. Would be incredible if they found the same watch though so I wanna believe that version lol

I think Corey is the same way, he wants to call it as it happens and not know the outcome. Surprised Cole isn't the same way after he spoiled the WM15 finish.

So who comes back this week? Alexa, Carmella, Uncle Howdy? I don't even remember who has been missing.

Samantha making the call
I think it's easy for us to forget that these people don't just see each other when they're on TV. They're at TV for 8+ hours every time they pop on screen for 15 minutes. I'm sure both her and Rick O'Shea have spent plenty of time with Cody and Brandi. It's not a call up to her standards but in a way it was beautifully perfect for the moment.

The reality of it made it absolutely perfect. It was an emotional story, that's why it was so good.

Elaborate
Well his son-in-law took his creative job and made it so much better. His daughter goes out tonight and proclaims it the PV Era. I'm sure he's a periah amongst a lot of people he was close to. He's facing investigations and by selling has no power to interfere in them.

Going a bit deeper. If his daughter felt she couldn't be around the company that is her birthright, I highly doubt she'd let their daughters be anywhere near him. (Sad because they are old enough to understand what is going on.)

He may have money but what good is it if he can't enjoy it with his family?

He made a side comment about doing the sleuthing work to find that exact watch. He also said that he had the watch with him in the ring so last of Dusty was there too.

Ambrose would have been mind blowing. The IWC is up in arms about SCSA. The thing that they missed most was Dustin coming out after the match. I'm not going to mention the other place by name but on an individual level, Tony is a real fricking scumbag if he was asked and told Dustin no. To me if that comes out he's done in the business once existing contracts expire.

Carmella was already RAW but with Graves having moved she probably moves too (unless they want to take turns with their kid), I believe Alexa was a FA but with SD already recently adding Jade/Naomi/Tiffy it makes sense for her to be on RAW. I don't think we'll see any fresh call-ups. We might see guys who've already had their first matches (Melo for one) but the big addition will be Howdy. You can tell Taylor/Bo has been working on his facial features and voice.

ETA: I stand corrected. This feels like when the Super Bowl goes off the air. Thankfully the next buildup to Maniapolis (yes baws, my TM on that for all entertainment & sports uses is pending) starts tomorrow night. I'm glad I was lucky enough to be part of the penultimate RAW in Chicago and can't wait to go to the Pro Football HOF Enshrinement Ceremony/SummerSlam doubleheader this summer.

I'm outta here. See many of you in the MNRT!

Well if the pawn shop is still in business they may well have remembered who they sold it to given it was Dusty Rhodes's watch then they could've just tracked it from there

Yeah I'm having trouble falling asleep. My guess is this may have been tracked down by the same people who talk down the stuff for the "most valued treasures" show. Taking it one step further, it would not surprise me if the kid who got the weight belt tonight was the son/grandson of who they bought it from.

Can I say just one more time how much I love how much things have changed since Vince lost all control? HHH is right, World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT is fun to watch again. A hybrid of the last 3 big eras (Hogan/Attitude/PG) may be the sweet spot for it to be "cool" again. LD was a fan as Cena was on the current Roman schedule but started shitting all over it during the thunderdome era. Even he sat down and watched a few matches after work tonight without shitting on it. (And for those curious, I'll go ahead and reveal it. LD is friends with one of their main referee's kids. That is how I've gotten a bit of info here and there over the years.)

I love how everything that Meltzer said would happen this weekend, the exact opposite happened. Why anyone listens to that chode, much less pays to listen him is beyond me.

AEW is in serious trouble after this show. Most of the splash stars they pulled early in the company's history are now leaving or have left. Dynamite's viewership is cratering. Any momentum they had at any point has been destroyed by the Bucks and their little crew. Tony Khan is batshit if he still allows whatever stunt they're planning on pulling on Wednesday involving CM Punk to move forward. Whether it's the full video that shows Punk lying through his teeth or it's some sort of comedy/spoof segment, it's still giving publicity to the competition.

I love how serious ESPN was about this show this weekend. Felt different. I think McAfee really helped there.

Also, I've heard the term "pro wrestling" said so much by WWE in a long time. Rumor has it that they are making a concerned effort to move away from the term "sports entertainment".

It was refreshing to hear "wrestling". Trips even said it during the presser last night. If they truly want to get away from Vince's shadow, moving away from Sports Entertainment is a part of that.

Moving away from Sports Entertainment is a mistake because what I saw last night was not wrestling, but it was entertainment.

First hour of RAW has to be commercial-free tonight, right?
