They only put Rusev in the US title match at the last second because his merch sales are so high. There was a rumor he threatened to quit due to WWE wasting him too. Its amazing how over he is when WWE actively tries to not do anything with him.

This actually may be what Vince and creative are thinking. They may be thinking the chant is over and not Rusev.
