WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: The Greatest Cheat Ever Edition

So after sleeping on it last night... my reaction to the Orton/Edge match last night was that if they just billed it as an "old school pure wrestling match" and left it at that... they would've knocked it out of the park... but billing it as the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever put it up to heights it could not reach

I loved the tribute to Howard Finkle at the intros... I loved Lil Naitch being in the blue long sleeve button-up and bow-tie... I HATED the over-editing of the audio during the match, esp. when you hear Samoa Joe going wild but at the same time see him just sitting there staring at his monitor doing nothing... I was indifferent to the finish spamming of previous wrestlers' finishes... and I wasn't a fan of both Edge's & Orton's finishers both being made inert... but having Orton resort to a low blow and the Legend Killer punt to end the match did sorta ramp up the feud in my mind.

Unfortunately... we won't see the feud continue for 4-8 months. As someone said during the Smackdown thread on Friday... Edge tore a triceps during the taping of that match that will put him on the shelf for 4-8 months... so that sucks

And now for the preview of the Bruce "Brother Love" Pritchard debut as executive director episode of Monday Night Raw... coming from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla. (oh... USA Network may not be too happy with Paul Heyman's removal either)

Randy Orton will open the show to gloat about his win last night over Edge

Dominik Mysterio-Guerrero will be on hand as he accepts Seth Rollins' invitation to come to Raw

"Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be on hand for... reasons... maybe to watch his daughter get her 50 millionth title shot in the last 4 years

We get a rematch of last night's Raw Women's Championship match between Asuka & G's model girlfriend Nia Jax

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre & 24/7 Champion R-Truth team up to take on Bobby Lashley & MVP... hopefully with Lana

And who doesn't like Lana in a bikini?
