As someone who was in the building when Steamboat beat Flair two out of three falls to retain the NWA World title, I knew before the match started that there was never any chance for it to ever be the greatest wrestling match ever.

Randy said it was The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever. He's seen a lot of matches and he was there for at least 95% of the match. Hard to argue with that.
