Well at least we got to watch what is and will remain the best wrestling show of 2023 on Saturday.

Even Sunday and Monday can’t ruin that.

Was honestly one of the worst and most boring Raws after Mania in quite sometime. Back to me watching PPVs only from here on out.

Holy shite, just read a recap of that show. What a way to run off people after that shite sandwich Sunday night.

People thinking Roman is holding the belts until April of 2027 now imagine how much he would be hated

I saw a comment on Reddit that predicted the Brock turn halfway through the show and it suddenly made all the sense in the world.

I for one did not expect that the person that would walk out of this Raw with the biggest push would be Omos lol

That whole Raw made no sense at all

Here's my thing....if Roman is going to take time off. Given the developments of the last 48 hours what sense does it make to leave the title on him.

A) Obviously you aren't going to do anything with Sami/KO and the Uso anymore or I suspect that would have kicked off last night.

B) Obviously Solo isn't going to get a push to face Cody in PR.

C) When Roman does eventually come back with the title the Bloodline is going to be completely cooled off. Also, with this whole shite with Brock I expect Cody to cool off as well. So someone said after the end of WM Sunday that Roman v Cody would never be hotter. I was willing to wait until after Raw to judge that, but now after Raw that statement is 1000% true. That program will never get close to the heat it had Sunday night in my view.

It just makes no sense from a pro wrestling booking perspective. I mean is Vince going to let Endeavor buy WWE and then kill the territory. Vince has booked better than this when WWE was down and way better than this when WWE was hot like is now.

ETA

The other thing here is that Brock obviously didn't like the shite with Omos and who knows who booked that. Now, it feels like Vince is trying to throw Brock a bone by throwing Cody to him on his way out the door. I suspect we get two PLEs out of that at least....Brock beats Cody in PR and then puts Cody over as he goes out the door in his last match. Honestly, from a crowd perspective that match could go as bad for Brock as his match with Goldberg did at WM 20 when everyone knew both of them were leaving.

I'm still not over Cody losing Sunday. It was setup perfectly. The build was perfect. I loved the fact that they hadn't touched each other going into the match. Cody hadn't lost and the crowd was behind him. Now Roman is taking time off, Brock is a part timer. You had a guy willing to work and carry the titles and you completely shite all over it. That's not even including the other guys on the roster that will work also.

The thing is with a strong Raw and the right story telling you could have overcome Sunday's result...in fact there are ways where if it would have been done correctly people would have looked back at that result on Sunday as "good" given what could have been done in the future.

Monday killed all that real quick.

Honestly, I said I wasn't going to even give them that chance, so I didn't watch (wasn't a hard choice given the basketball title game and Braves were playing). I just can't give that product the time anymore if it's going to be like what I read it was.

Cody was never going to win the belt off of reigns at mania. The story never made any sense. It was a butchered continuation of his awful face run in aew. I solved racism! Look at my dad! Carry the legacy! Just awful.

The story has always been about jey since day 1. It will always loop back to jey and jimmy. If anyone is dethroning Reigns, it's going to be an inside job. And I could easily see jimmy/jey splitting the belts and eventually losing them separately.

But cody isn't touching the championship until at the very least next year.

Clearly you haven't seen the WWE crowd reactions to Cody....it is night and day different from AEW. It was Cody, as a face, losing to scrubs like Darby Allin in AEW that killed him. He's even said in hindsight in his current state he should have went over those guys. Aside from that the crowd reactions to him as a face including last night are absolutely insane. I mean WWE hasn't gotten babyface reactions like that since Big E won the title.

If what you are saying holds true then that is horrible business. While I think the Uso's are probably the best tag team on the planet they are simply not ready for single's runs with the titles...neither of them. There is some real meat on the bones with the Jey and Roman stuff but it shouldn't involve the title. In fact Roman losing the title should be a way to advance that storyline in my mind.
