Heymann will hopefully have a lot of creative control for whatever they're doing with Brock at Summerslam so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

That's the problem with WWE these days though. Too many dorks and Star Trek geeks and vanilla midgets.
I hope Braun's win tonight is the start of a push to the top for him
about the only good news from tonight's main event is that it seems like both Corbin & Evans are out of the title picture for a little bit

YES!!!
Aging myself here but I knew the guy after he transferred into The U from his ND JUCO. (Grad students and upperclass athletes usually lived in the same university apartments back then.) His limited schedule is time/family driven not lack of interest. Hopefully this is about him giving Vince one final full time run before he slips back to his ranch.
He's not losing the title at SS. I would think they'll use "his first match on Smackdown in over a decade" to draw eyes to the first FOX Smackdown. Likely dropping it to Roman since it seems FOX will be the new "A" show.

By “The U” do you mean the University of Minnesota? Cause brock damn sure didn’t go to Miami

Random idea here... Brock/Sable vs Seth/Becky winner take all?

Congrats to our new Women’s Champion as well!!
knowing some of the dumb shite WWE's done recently... I would've loved to see what they would've done with a cash-in while the match was going on

It's not as ubiquitous as Miami, but UMinnesota people definitely call their school The U.

Yes. It's referred to as "The U" up there. Thought it was stupid but no clue if it was like that for decades or a pure marketing ripoff of Miami. Regardless it's amazing to look back at how a lot of those guys have done over the years. Can't really speak to anything up the aside from 1998-2000 though.

so by my count... no one got the bonus points for calling a cash in tonight

which I think is what's behind all these weird Shelton Benjamin "interviews" the last 2 weeks where Benjamin just smiled at the camera
Benjamin & Lesnar will start doing segments together

They were a badass tag team in developmental (the Minnesota Stretching Crew). I think people forget that Shelton is (or at least used to be) kind of a big guy. Dude was 250 and built like a brick shithouse.

Shelton is the only reason why Brock stayed in wrestling.
