I get it….maybe I’m just too old school.

I had to watch late, but I have a couple of thoughts:

I'm thinking the women's World Heavyweight Championship is somehow going to end up being a triple threat match. I just don't see where Iyo would go for Mania and she needs to be in the title picture. There'll obviously be Roxanne vs Bayley, Jade vs Naomi, Alexa vs Liv probably in a tag team championship match with Raquelle and hopefully Nikki, and Lyra and Chelsea could also have title matches. Obviously Tiffany and Charlotte. There just isn't room to put Iyo in a program anywhere else.

I don't know what they've done with Tiffany lately, but she's been more attractive than she had been.

I'm thinking Seth, Punk, Roman, and Drew end up in a fatal four way, maybe add in Priest? I don't really know. There's alot going on there.

I get the Cena heel turn. It actually makes perfect sense. I hope they do it right. Rock and Cena are WWE's Hollywood stars. Batista is too, but he's pretty much said he's done with WWE. They can make themselves so unlikeable without even trying. And he's still gonna sell merch.

Hopefully Cena wins with help from the Rock at mania to really set off a great heel run with the strap.

I've got a better idea to give them both nuclear heat. It would get them booed practically out of the buildings.

Look guys, I understand that I’m a grown man that still watches wrestling…but sometimes you gotta draw a line where you don’t care. This is that line. Who cares? It’s not that serious.

Cena wins at Mania, Stone Cold shows up to save Cody at a later PPV setting up an ultimate showdown with Rock. This would be the ultimate finale to all wrestling.

Smackdown in Philly... talk about perfect timing. That crowd appreciates well done angles.

It looks like we're getting Fatu vs Solo instead of Reigns at Mania. Roman is looking for a match. Perhaps he figures into this. We've been saying for months that Rock-Roman doesn't need a title. It's all sitting right there for them. With the four title matches we know, the two I suggested, and the obvious Seth-Punk, I think we can make a few educated guesses from previous years cards.

Night 1: Mania starts with Gunther-Jey. Penultimate match is likely Tiffy-Charlotte. Main Event is Rock vs Roman

Night 2: Bianca-Rhea kick it off. Punk-Seth in the penultimate match. Main Event is Cody vs Cena.

Then there's filler like Fatu vs Strowman, Jade vs Naomi, and the women's tag matches. I wish they would put a spotlight on the NXT women's division by having Guilia, Roxanne, and Vaqueer in a title match. (I think what will happen is Guilia dropping it at Stand & Deliver and then heading to the main roster two nights later.) SD on Friday will likely be the start of the Alexa/Sicks storyline. I wouldn't mind if it swerved to Alexa vs Abagail.

Agree. As a metaphor, I would loved to see a Game of Thrones Ned and Joffrey post show press conference talking about the scene (no spoilers, right?)

WWE delivered bigtime tonight. HHH’s WWE is a good product. When they can deliver and create generational moments, it’s as good as it gets.

I watched tonight on a whim. My son (10 years old) hasn’t even seen it yet. He fell asleep after the parade. I can’t wait to see and video his reaction tomorrow afternoon. Including the Cody F-bomb

I think with him it's an ego thing. He's got to make sure he goes out there so everybody thinks he's the one behind it all. He's had to double back to wrestling after he flamed out of Hollywood. If you didn't have blinders on you could see this coming from a mile away. The guy leveraged his name and connections to get some of WWE's most valuable IP, his fugly daughter a job as a figurehead boss of developmental, and if he wanted could have his TKO friends fire Paul at the drop of the hat.

omeone else in the thread pointed out that babyface Cena would’ve attacked Seth for stomping Punk rather than pounce on the easy win. Completely flew over my head in real time but super noticeable in hindsight. Hopefully Cena wins with help from the Rock at mania to really set off a great heel run with the strap. I’d love to see heel champ Cena vs face Punk or face Roman at summerslam down the line
i was also expecting AA and pinfall the fact that he used STF and punk pass out a call back to hart sharpshooter heelish turn against austin when he blacked out?

I honestly think that he was the one that was behind the last round of Vince allegations, but that's neither her nor there.

It was clear Travis Scott did not have a clue what to do out there.

At the very least, someone could've showed him the proper way to drape the strap over his shoulder. Dude was struggling to even hold the belt..
