He also committed genocide and invaded another country if you want to give his full resume.

I think it’s been enough time to admit Iraq was a bad decision for us to get involved with

MARGARET BRENNAN: So President Trump said Friday he's not happy with the way talks are going, and not happy that they're "not willing to give us what we have to have." From your point of view, is diplomacy failing?
MINISTER ALBUSAIDI: I am confident, and in my assessment of the way the talks are going, I think there is, really I can see that the peace deal is within our reach.
[...]
MARGARET BRENNAN: What has Iran agreed to, to you, that they have never done before? Can you give us any sense?
MINISTER ALBUSAIDI: The single most important achievement, I believe, is the agreement that Iran will never, ever have a nuclear material that will create a bomb. This is, I think, a big achievement. This is something that is not in the old deal that was negotiated during President Obama's time. This is something completely new. It really makes the enrichment argument less relevant, because now we are talking about zero stockpiling. And that is very, very important, because if you cannot stockpile material that is enriched then there is no way you can actually create a bomb, whether you enrich or don't enrich. And I think this is really something that has been missed a lot by the media, and I want to clarify that from the standpoint of a mediator.
He goes on to detail other Iranian concessions.

Do you recall our first female Secretary of State giving an interview in which she defended the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives in Iraq due to our sanctions?

Both can be true

Everything was put in play 2 weeks ago. US and Israel met with everyone leading up to Iran coming empty handed to the nuke negotiations.
Here's the problem with taking out the top leadership. Even the CIA is admitting they don't know what to expect with the leadership vacuum that has been created. We didn't exactly hit it out of the park in Afghanistan.
This also adds another wrinkle to the Russia-Ukraine war. Putin has claimed he wants Ukraine as a buffer between Russia and NATO. This gives him the opportunity to argue his concern is valid. I think that's why you're going to hear nothing but silence from the EU about this.

We're supposed to believe Iran? Haven't then been reneging/lying for decades?

I’m assuming most of these MAGA dudes were either too young, or not born yet, to enjoy the taste of freedom fries.

Two weeks ago was the same thing. If Iran was ready to concede they would have.
But yeah, they seemed trustworthy so far in all their previous negotiations. No reason not to trust them. Not like they have been in violation of the previous agreements they have signed.

Imagine believing there's a Deep State while simultaneously shilling for never-ending war in the Middle East on behalf of Likud. You've become the source of your own problems.

Reading the Sunni v Shia conflict just seems like there will be another round of ethnic cleansing.
It seems a lot of sunshine pumpers are seeing some democracy form and pics of Iranian girls in bikinis again. That's a long way from a religious theocracy.

Who are not operating in a vacuum and just got generational reinforcement from the attacking great Satan. And while many happy *are with our at the present moment air power the RG only needs small arms and boots on the ground to remain in control.
It's still very much a wait and see if these guys stay in power or become terrorist who just lost their country.

We were either negotiating to try to find a non-military solution (as Donald Trump claimed), which implies that we were prepared to believe them about something, or we were negotiating in bad faith, which means that Trump lied to us all and we were going to war regardless of what took place.
