bruh....pay attention to her facebook comments and twitter..

I made a comment on one of her tweets, and people came out the woodwork to defend her. Of course they were the green haired goblins and 110lb soy boys of the Bywater. But they were still defending her.

She could "stand down" essential services like NOPD, EMS, and others on Sundays. NFL could afford to provide some coverage, but not like that.

She would do it in a heartbeat, too.

EMS for Saints games is ran by Acadian which is private and out of her control. I’m sure the super dome can get enough security for the games. She can’t do shite.

Going to take a wild guess that the mayor of New Orleans doesn't have to pay for saints tickets

I'm going to take another that she doesn't properly report those tickets to the IRS.

I have no idea how this isn't obvious to people. Some folks are posting on social media to "keep the restrictions in place and save lives". The restrictions only ensure you don't overrun the hospitals and that's all.

Because politicians and the media have changed the narrative; almost from the beginning of this people were misrepresenting why we are locked down. Now its a mantra for the facebook moms of the world.

Why would they go all the way to San Antonio when there is perfectly good stadium an hour away from their practice facility, team offices and the players, coaches and staff all live here.

You mean exactly like they did after Katrina?

Because the two situations are comparable right?

They will either be playing in front of a crowd in New Orleans or playing in front of nobody because that’s what the rest of the NFL is doing. They aren’t going to move stadiums, other than being bored I’m not sure why anyone is even entertaining that idea

Here is how this is going to play out

Football will be kept in limbo for a while

Leading into the season we will be presented with the following:

Fans will not be permitted at the games due to covid concerns. Instead the games willl be played and offered up in a pay per view type scenario (in a tiered approach based on feed quality, angles, or other new metric they roll out). This will pave the way for the NFL to condition the masses that this is the "new norm" to keep the league profitable. Even when spectators are allowed back in the stands, I would expect that these "options" would be in the background. The NFL will find a way to "bill for it's services" (especially as more and more folks are cutting the cord while favoring streaming content they desire).

Was looking like the panthers/saints game was going to be the same weekend as the gamecocks/tigers. Planned to go down and go to bother. Thanks Latoya.

If they don’t allow fans in the dome, how do they expect to control the people tailgating outside?

I'd imagine the NFL makes way more on their TV deals with the networks than they ever would on a PPV set up.
