I got a light that was a wrench. I hooked it to obd2 scanner and had no codes. When I turned it off and started again, code was gone?

Is this a change oil light?

I can't find a solid answer on Google.
Everything from tow it in, to it's nothing.
Now it's yellow not red, so it can't be drastic.

The wrench is the service engine light on Fords from around then. Any number of things could set it off, just like any other check engine light.

It also indicates engine knock on some of those vehicles if equipped with a knock sensor. It also will light if the vehicle is equipped with self-protection mode and you do something stupid to send the engine into it.

If it's yellow, it's not that serious.

Can you stop at autozone and have them read the code for you? If there is a light , I don't understand why there is no code.

Agreement here

Is that it is your throttle body Around $200 repair.

Read the forums at this site - LINK
Then download their program which is almost as powerful as the Ford tool and buy this obdii adapter - LINK
This setup will read codes that regular obdii tools won't. Saved me $1800 when the throttle position sensor was going bad and the shop thought it was injectors or the high pressure fuel pump.

My throttle body isn't bad, so I'm assuming my tps is failing.
I'll replaced it. I replaced my MAF a few months back.
