Yes, old folks with some incumbent issues should stay in for a month. Others can get groceries or scripts for them.

That's exactly why he said quarantine the elderly. I think you can go a couple weeks without going to your parents or grandparents house. We probably should be staying away from them anyways.

Even young adults are getting very sick from this bug. It may be deadlier for older adults but it’s far more than just a cold for anyone. It can do major lung damage, even to nonsmokers. It attacks the deep portion of the lungs.

And I say we’re staring at a potential depression and civilian unrest if we are under shut down orders by the government until August.
My mother is immune compromised and my in-laws are 72+. This hits home and I worry for their health.
However, the amount of hardship our country may face in order to avoid a 1% mortality rate (potentially lower as mass testing gets rolling) does not seem worth it.
