My wife purchased one of those “cool” pillows and I sweated all over that sob at night. I asked her to return it - she lol’d

Not necessarily. My Sleep Number bed is awesome and worth every penny. Definitely not the same as the old coil spring mattresses.
If you’re buying the same thing over and over, that’s your fault. Products evolve. You should try to evolve with them.

I have a fancy pillow. Forget the brand. But it was game changing for my sleep, so yes I’d pay whatever to sleep.
