I like to think I would, but one never knows until the situation arises. I'm old and have no kids, so I have no idea how risking your life to save your dog -vs- risking your life to save your children would compare. I DO know, however, that if someone's kids are abusing my dog I will very likely beat the tarnelly out of the little shits, and their parents too if they come to complain about their little angels being corrected.
Darned kids shoulda stayed off my lawn in the first place! They can play ball in their own yard.
