I don't post anymore than anyone else. Of course you will say "if you only post once a day its still too much", but go look at when I post before you start accusing me of posting as if I am posting all day everyday.

Not sure who you are or why all of a sudden you have tried to shite on me all the time, but this hasn't failed yet. The people on here who come at me and not at all joking.. It is usually because of one of two reasons. 1. You want to fit in. 2. You are dealing with some real life problems and you need away to feel better about yourself..

So which one is it? Do you need to fit in on a message board? (which means you also have some issues within itself) or are you dealing with a breakup, addiction or is it something else? Your wife treats you like a bitch and you need to come here to feel like a man?

There is no amount of money that is worth losing someone I love. Furthermore, there is no amount of money that would lessen the pain of losing someone I love.

I am asking the question because in the Kobe thread people have made comments that suggest money is more valuable than the lives of a loved one.

Coworker of mine received a huge settlement (amount never disclosed as she cannot say but I'm guessing several million) after 3 of her children were killed in a car accident.

I know she would give back every penny and would gladly be in debt for millions the rest of her life if it meant she could have her kids back alive.

Horrible question.

I’ll grieve either way and I’m sure as hell not getting an inheritance. I would guess that good fortune tempers bad fortune to some degree. I mean , people do smile when the life insurance check comes in. Life goes on.

Nurse, the only reason I asked this question is because people in the Kobe thread was suggesting that money would make it easier to get over someone's death.

I thought it was horrible to even bring up money. There is a reason I am asking this question... because evidently there are people who value money over everything else in this world.. Which is sad.

You pity me and not the people who have said that money would help them cope with the loss of loved ones?

As I said in the other thread.

While grief & sadness are a given, the sad realty is that for many it is also coupled with worry bc they don't have the money & can't afford a loan to give their loved one a proper burial. No, money doesn't make it less sadder but it sure does eliminate some huge problems you'd have without it.

They did not say that. I assure you, money is one of the first things that comes to mind during your grief & sadness bc the coroner asks the family which funeral home they prefer to use. People with money are insulated from the fear of not being able to afford a proper burial or their loved on.

Or course it does.. But you still grieve. Obviously as time goes on there is less grief because other aspects of life start to stack up on the memories you are grieving over, but when you lose a loved one they stay with you forever.

And there is nothing that can replace that person. Sure, its good to have a lot of money. If you didn't have it before then all of a sudden you have it, it helps solve a lot of problems that you had when you didn't have as much, but money isn't the key to happiness.

Money doesn't buy you a perfect life.
