Yes. There are areas where the radiation levels are safer than an CT machine. There was a 60 minutes story in 2014, on the new containment structure being built in Chernobyl. Basically if you don't get close to the reactor or spend long period of time there you are ok.

Now I know that whatever you watched was probably 5% factual, if that. The only thing real about what you watched was that Chernobyl exists and there is radiation there.

Chernobyl is fairly close to Kiev... about a 2-hour drive.

The SEC should schedule the Iron Bowl there next year.

I love Auburn football more than any man should, but if it meant wiping out all things Bammer football, I honestly might be ok with it. Take one for the team type thing

Rotate it between Mogadishu, Fukashima, Chernobyl, Syria and Libya.

At least until things calm down in all those places.

How can a 35 year old be an expert at anything?
NO wonder the place blew up.

How is the driver seeing?

The Soviets valued loyalty to the party over competency, and the Soviets sucked at accountability. Bondarenko, the man in charge on the night of the accident had been in charge of 2 submarine reactors that had melted down, but he was able to pass the blame off on to lower ranking officials and he kept moving up the system. The Soviets initally blamed Toptunov, but later independent investigations revealed that Toptunov had argued with Bondarenko about continuing the test, but Bodarenko was due for a promation and he didn't want to sacrifice that.

without a doubt.
THe NSFW part of those 140 pictures is what happened to the people exposed to the radiation right after the explosion and clean up. The words describing what happens to your body is worse than the 2 or 3 pictures they had.
