Tailgate buddy of mine, Iraq War veteran, injured his spine two years ago on July 4th jumping into Lake Lanier from a boat. Limited upper body mobility, lower body paralysis. Guy served three tours, gets home unscathed, and this shite happens.
On my first visit to the Shepherd Center to visit with him, his girlfriend mentions that foot rubs are good for him to help with his circulation and I look right at him and say, “you’re about to get a foot rub from a man” and just do it. Dude has a great sense of humor and it lightened the mood in the room immediately (his daughter and some of our other friends were there as well).

If it was my dad, or my brother, and they needed it done for therapeutic reasons, I would. Might do it for a male cousin in the same situation.

My dad walked door to door daily in his job, and all the kids had to learn to rub his feet.
He had some mangly, blistered feet too.
But that skill came in handy with the ladies later
