2021 Nissan Rogue

It's still a crossover, but it looks less like a minivan than before - following the styling trend of the latest Toyota Rav4. The new Rogue is slightly larger than the 2020 Rav4, but less powerful.

It's available with a paint scheme that includes a different colored roof, which is similar to what was offered by the new Mini Clubman and 2020 Chevrolet Trailblazer Activ.

The interior is actually very nice looking considering the price point.

Nissan claims that the Rogue will have the largest, most feature-packed heads up display in the segment. I like that they kept the hard buttons HVAC controls instead of building them into a touchscreen.

The selling point here is AWD (for snow belt customers), a comfortable interior, and semi-autonomous driving features that can help reduce fatigue in high traffic commutes. It looks pretty good and should come fully loaded at under $40,000. I like the idea of being able to get all of the active safety gear and semi-autonomous driving features for that price. I like that it looks more like a small truck instead of a minivan. A little disappointed with the carryover 2.5L engine and the problematic CVT though....and Nissan's brand equity is probably behind the Koreans and the Americans at this point.
