Why would I take a pay cut to go to jail?
Posted on 4/23/17 at 2:42 pm to Breesus
I'll do 2 years for 10 million.
Posted on 4/23/17 at 2:43 pm to Breesus
No. Why the hell would I waste 10 years of my prime. This is truly idiotic

No.
What a great thread. Only a truly seasoned poster could come up with a truly thoughtful topic like this. Look at all of the great discussion.

To an extent, you're right. But Angola isn't as tame as you make it sound.
Many people there have life, thus, they have nothing else to lose. If they think you're disrespecting them, looking at them wrong, whatever it may be, they'll come at you. Regardless if you were or not, it's about how they perceive it.
Burl Cain did a lot to help out the attitude in Angola. Regardless of what you think of him, he's the reason the murder numbers in Angola are no longer astronomical. However, it's still a crazy place that you wouldn't want to spend 10 years in, regardless of how much money you'd get when released.
I've spent a lot of time in Angola for various projects over the years and if anyone thinks it isn't hell on earth has never set foot in the gate. The public hears very little about what goes on regarding the inmates. Let's just say the infirmary stays full at all times.
Bill Gates money would not get me to do a stretch there.
Great cheeseburger at the golf course for $2.00 though.

Would say no. I've 'heard' that a month in most prisons feel closer to a year. Long days, shite food, one mistake can ruin your life in there. It's a hard NOPE from me
Posted on 4/23/17 at 3:04 pm to Breesus
No but I'd do 5 days for $1370
Posted on 4/23/17 at 3:06 pm to Breesus
I might consider doing a year for that kind of money, buy ten? frick no.

For $1 million per year for 10 years, I'd move to Luanda.

I moved there for less than that.

Since I make 7 figures a year already, no.

Would I have to toss salads and suck dick?
Posted on 4/23/17 at 4:28 pm to Breesus
Yes.
Basically, give up 10 years of my life in order to never have to work again? I'd do that.
And maybe with 10 years in prison, I could finally get in better shape and catch up on reading.

If you told an 18 year old that, I don't think it's a bad plan. Never work again, yeah miss some prime years but you'd have the time to make up for it and no wife or kids. But a 28 year old with wife and kids, that's a lot tougher.
