The wife’s Volvo reads the speed limit signs and indicates it on the dash board and speedometer. You can set a chime to be 7 mph over, 15 mph over…whatever, so you’re warned when you are going too fast. It’s pretty amazing.
You look at the dash and there a image of speed limit sign with the previous one you passed’s info on it.

They have to have one by law now. But all of this crap is why a Silverado with cloth seats is 60k now too
Lots of vehicles with cloth seats and all of this tech that arent 60k.

You'd be pretty stupid to not want this.
Ehh people suck at driving but it depends on the vehicle. Ive been in my friends truck where it goes off in the drive thru. Its annoying as frick.
Mine has never gone off so i dont even know if it works, might have to actually hit something.

You have to have all that shite calibrated, if you end having to have a windshield replaced, or so they say.

There was an outfit in Ga that was refurbishing ford diesel trucks with the 6.0, the further we go I'm surprised there aren't more outfits doing this very thing with other pre big brother vehicles.

Lane departure warning/correction is more dangerous than helpful
The first time I drove a vehicle with that I nearly wrecked trying to figure out what the warning was.

Chevy's 5.3 they keep putting in the trucks and SUV's has somehow gotten worse with the AFM. Like the QA has just dropped off badly. Give me a 6.0 like the old Suburban HD had. That's easily a 300K mile vehicle.
