You should weigh the cost-benefit of not studying.
How will you utilize the extra time you don't study?
Sexy time with the 26yr old teacher everyone is lusting over here or will you be designing a new game for your D&D guild?

Can't relate to just phoning it in for any class. Even if you wanted to why would you want to trash your 3.9 GPA? Suck it up and work.

Take my advice, try and get an A. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but one day may you think about upgrading your grad degree above McNeese.
And if you find yourself at a top school applying for a scholarship for grad school and they see that C...it's a differentiator.
Then you end up spending half your essay explaining why that C doesn't matter, when it could have really not.
I still got the scholarship, but I had to be accountable for my past laziness.

My outlook during my time in college was that if attendance and/or homework was worth 10% of my grade, I started off with a B. I mostly made B's.
Do I kick myself every day....you bet your arse I do. But I'm not going to lie to myself. Given the opportunity again, I'd probably be in the same boat.

I will probably spend the extra time sleeping. I work full time and am just wanting to get a B.S.
I started at lsu and dropped out for years, am making a good living now and just wanting to finish what I started.

I haven't either. I have mainly been asked why I never finished school.

If you want an honest answer, work hard and get the A. I realize you're just wanting to finish up and get your degree, and in the short term that makes perfect sense. Hell, there's a chance it also makes perfect sense in the long term.
But you never really know what you'll want to do one day. Maybe you move to a new city at some point and want to further your education? Maybe you decide you want to give law school a go?
Not saying any of that will happen, but why not leave that door open with the highest possible GPA you can muster?
Basically, there's no harm here in succeeding, but the potential for harm in failing.
