Would you be upset if a restaurant was cooking with tobacco to hook customers?

Saw a story about Chinese restaurants using Opium to hook customers, which is illegal. But would using raw tobacco to season or infuse food be considered illegal? If not, would you be upset if they didn't tell you?

I use weed butter in my dishes and my friends never notice. Gives them the impression that's it's a lot better than it actually is.

I take it you've never swallowed tobacco. It isn't pleasant. Cooking it might make it more digestible but might destroy the nicotine (just guessing).

Tea and caffeine.

What other legal addictive additives can go into a dish?

Cooking w tobacco could easily lead to fatal levels of nicotine. So yes, I'd be pissed.

It's all made in China. Tobacco or opium would be way down the list of bad ingredients.

bullshite. There's no way they don't taste the weed. If they really can't, it's not strong enough to do anything. Plus, edibles take an hour to kick in.

I do wish restaurants had these on the dessert menu.
