Would you be in favor of Soviet style justice if there is ZERO doubt of guilt?

Either march the convicted out immediately to their demise at the hands of a hangman, firing squad, electric chair, injection, whatever…or send them to a hard labor camp for the rest of their days.
This seems a much better crime deterrent than what we currently have.

We are already there in some ways.

I think the exploding violent crime rates are plenty indicative of the toothlessness of our current punishment.

2. I’m 100% certain that a near guaranteed immediate death sentence would be more of a deterrent than hanging out with your gang members in prison.
