I don't understand why black people aren't more well liked. I'm baffled.
I think being liked is low on the list of priorities. Being "respected" aka feared, is more important.

Ever ride a subway?
Go to DC and take a trip to the mall.
Easy to see. Excited and happy? Tourist
Glum and looking like cat dragged them in…….DC workers.
Funny as hell.

She just wanted to vent on white people. The dog just gave her that excuse

Blacks are oddly terrified of harmless dogs owned by white people but they’ll own 3 pit bulls themselves

Haray Caray called and wants his glasses back.

Not everybody wants to be touched by a dog, so if you can't prevent yours from doing that to other people around you, you should either make sure the dog is properly restrained (i.e. in a small cage/crate) or simply not bring it with you.
That annoying as lady has the right argument, but her delivery made everyone else immediately hate her. Had she been less of a bitch, I'm sure most people would've agreed with her, at least in principle.
Was going to say this. Not everyone likes animals. It's fine if you don't.
Now the video doesn't have the beginning of the interaction but I wonder how difficult it would have been for the dog owner to put the dog in the other arm or simply turned away from the woman.

No, they don't. Your dog doesn't need to make the trip to Trader Joe's with you.
Where was she going?

It infers she threatened to kick the little dog for sniffing her
“It touch me I’m gonna touch it back”
Which triggers the dogs owner cautioning her not to
Then she goes on the tirade

Depends on what you consider well behaved.

I get the point you are trying to make. But I'd argue that even your summary places the blame solely at the feet of the dog owner. He clearly wasn't keeping his dog from contacting other people on a crowded train. That's not the annoying black chick's fault.

I think the escalation was 100% on her for threatening the dog
Normal people don’t do that
Normal people say, “please don’t let your dog lick me or sniff me, I’m just not an animal person”
But normal people don’t threaten to hurt a pet

You are assuming.
You know how people will overreact after a police shooting saying that 'so and so was doing nothing wrong'....and the full video comes out and the person shot was acting an arse.......
We don't know if that dog was acting an arse or not. We don't know if the black woman asked the owners for the dog not to touch her.
You said that she was going to kick the dog but the dog was in the owners arms....so are you saying that the dog was on the ground and then the owner picked it up?
If that's the case could it be possible that the dog put it's paws on the woman?
I'm not defending the woman for going batshit insane....but let's not act like dog owners aren't assholes sometimes when it comes to their dogs out in public.

This is the most logical assumption and probable scenario

The video starts while she is crashing out....we don't know if she started out politely asking for the dog not to touch her.

But in the video we do get the background on the threat to the dog and the dog owners response
And I’m not gonna rewatch it, but I believe that is what she blames her whole tirade on and behavior on
I don’t like peoples dogs, especially larger dogs coming right up to me, aggressively and sniffing
And I really prefer someone super friendly 100 pound Labrador not jump all over me and slobber all over me
But I’m not threatening to kick those dogs, even if their owners are inconsiderate

Only one that is not a jerk is the dog
Black womens sits down in her seat and that dog is six inches from her face.. not something I would trust..
But.. just turn your back to the dog.. stand and let it go..
Man arguing : how about just trade places with the dog bag lady and remove the problem from the other women area
Dog bag lady.. get a real bag for your dog.. they sell them.. enclosed but windowed.. back pack types .. and you can set the bag on ground between your legs away from people’s faces..
Humans= jerks
Dogs=greatness

1st... I doubt she started polite.
2nd... she shouldn't even have to. He is responsible for his dog coming into contact with other people.
3rd... that dog should have been in a carrier if one is following the NYC Subway rules for pets.
If dog dude had followed the posted rules of ridership, NONE of this would have happened.

On public transport, no. How else do you take the dog places
Any other indoor space not a vet. I don’t get it.
