If that was too harsh, let me know. I can settle for your pets.

From a morality standpoint you're equally responsible for this. You weren't paying attention to the cars braking in front of you so you swerved last second to avoid hitting them. The person behind you didn't even have a chance to brake because by the time they saw the stopped cars it was too late.
I was paying attention the entire time.

3. Had a tailgater on the highway who appeared to be drunk, I saw a disabled car on the shoulder, eased over toward it then jerked back into my lane. Drunk driver ran into stopped car at 65 mph. I saw car parts fly.
4. Made a quick lane-change in Houston traffic once, and witnessed a car that had been riding my arse plow directly into stopped traffic in my former lane. You?
You're either lying or a huge scum bag who deserves jail time

My 38 year old best friend making out like a teenager with his HS sweetheart in the back of a pickup truck in LSU post game, 2 hr traffic. 6 people in the cab, all watching, all pissing themselves laughing. They happened to bump into each other at a tailgate. Hadn't seen each other in 20 years. Worst? Maybe not, it just came to mind. And it's fricking hilarious.
Do you know how awesome it is to get into the truck with him and ask if he wants to hop in back and make out?
Not so awesome when he asks "You told your wife to wash the sheets in the spare bedroom, right?"

Driving southbound on I-17 between Flagstaff and Phoenix on a Friday around rush hour.
See truck in mirror weaving through traffic. Focus on road in front of me. Look in mirror again. Truck is perpendicular to traffic and doing a barrel roll. Parts start flying.

They have since redone the area where I-20 merges onto I-285 Norrh but back then it was kind of a death trap.
I live near there.
Any time traffic slows fast on the freeway, I hit my emergency flashers! I do this especially if I am in a curve and the people behind me can't see that there is a problem ahead. People don't always slow down much for tapped brakes but they pay attention to the emergency flashers, especially big rigs.

I am just glad they redesigned that area. I drive everyday around all of metro Atlanta and that was always the worst spot. The merger off of I-285 to 400 North was second as you merge into the passing lane. Stupid arse design.

On the way to church when I was in middle school, we were on a two lane highway. Cars coming in the opposite direction were lined up, but doing ~50. Car tries to pass up the line of cars, but used the shoulder. We saw him lose control and go off the road (where there was a ditch). As we passed I looked in the mirror to see what happened and he over corrected hitting the ramp of the ditch while coming back onto the road at almost a 90 degree angle. Car went airborne flipping in a barrel roll landing on top of the car two behind us. Guy flew out of the car as it was flipping. Called 911, but not sure what happened to the guy.
Recently was on the service road of beltway 8 in Houston. Stopped at a light. Heard tires lock up behind me. Looked up and a car is sliding sideways behind me, but luckily to my right. Hits the cats to my right. Then I hear sirens and see the guy furiously spinning the steering wheel as he proceeds to wedge his car between stopped traffic. Gets out and runs from police. They catch him about 15 cars up. He had apparently just robbed a bank. But even worse, he kept me at that damned stop light for 20 minutes.

This intersection is scheduled to be completely redone. I probably won't live long enough to see it finished. Oops. Scheduled to be completed in 2020.
I-285/Ga. 400 project groundbreaking scheduled for Nov. 3

I once was driving at night and was one of the lead cars (it had 2 lanes in both directions) and then I glanced into my side mirror only to see a SUV behind me swerve across the lanes real fast. I heard a lot pop too, so I'm sure the tire went out but from the looks of it in the mirror, they lost complete control. There were a ton of cars behind me, so I didn't stop as I never even saw what really happened. I hope everyone was alright.
