How the frick can you dislike Fargason?

He teaches transaction law, which is probably the most dry subject in the business curriculum, and he still makes the class interesting

Yeah. I thought Stahl was a major a-hole. I dropped his class and took Roussel. Found Roussel to be much better in every way and did well in his class.

ETA-- In this case my vote in this case would be Robert for ISDS 2000. In this case, anyone who had the misfortune of encountering this awful woman in this case in the early 2000s would understand what I'm saying in this case. What made it especially bad was that one of the best teachers in the department--Nunnery--would teach this class but her sections would fill up in a heartbeat.

My 18 yr old self really hated Chris Blakey for intro to Philosophy. Looking back though he was a really smart guy who rightfully hated dumbass freshmen.

Monica Santaella for Marketing. Horrible. Couldn’t speak English well, spent about 10 minutes everyday taping a bunch of posters featuring drawings she had done with random motivational quotes on the wall. She showed a lot of weird music and circus videos and her tests contained random (often misspelled) questions.

She’s also known for wearing a pilot hat and getting extremely emotional about students using phones. Karam made me realize how awful she was at teaching marketing.

There used to be an alcoholic Cost Accounting teacher from New Zealand who retired back in 2013 or something that fricking sucked man. His accent made me want to quit school. Couldn't understand shite. His class was all concepts that he made up. Used to smell like alcohol every class and would break out into random sweats. frick that dudes class. Dumbass bullshite. Wouldn't be shocked if he passed away at this point due to alcoholism.

Andrew Christie

I took his cost accounting night class in 2011 or 2012. He used his own textbook that he wrote for the course. Nearly 2/3 of the semester went by and he stopped showing up to class. He was removed from the section and had to be replaced by another professor. And because he used his own textbook, the replacement had to essentially start the entire course over using the book all of the other sections were using. We crammed an entire semester into about a month and a half's time. And because it was a 3 hour class, we would blow through like 3 chapters every class

Can you explain this more? I’ve never heard of that and have no idea what it means. You mean you sign something and get a B for doing no work?

Yea. So, first teacher we had was completely bat shite crazy. I’m talking off her rocker. Openly hitting on football players in the class, giving out her number to students, saying she swings both ways, etc. So, she was replaced by this clown.
Our schedule was as follows:
Monday-break into small groups and read a couple pages out of a chapter
Wednesday-write a one page summary of said readings
Friday-read the paper to the class and turn it in
We had three tests based upon the material. Not one person passed a single test due to the questions having literally zero to do with the papers/readings from the class. It was like the questions were from a different book.
As there were athletes in this class, they couldn’t fail, and the others were up in arms.
(I didn’t give a frick).
So, due to “miscommunication”, you signed a paper stating that Broome was not at fault, etc, and you got a B.
I, in the middle of class, stood up, told the teacher he was a joke, that he is wasting my time along with the students time, I’m not learning anything in this class I elected to take to learn about Af-Ams, and that was an awful excuse for a human being, let alone professor. Couple of the football players stopped me after class and thanked me.

He was a dick, but he was a good teacher, IMO. He covered everything in the labs.

Roussell was a good teacher and I learned a good deal from his classes. He actually gave me a free text book one year because I couldn’t afford it the first week of school.

But, he was a dick and got off on calling people out during class who were not paying attention (reading the paper or something else)

I have to agree on Cecil Eubanks. I took his class and enjoyed it. But I met him later in life and he truly is a kind, humble decent man.

Did she have curly hair?

Hated Mrs Rupnik, her husband was cool though. I had him for both freshman chemistries and an upper level chem lab, experiment design I think.

Worst was a little Asian guy teaching Physical Chemistry II, which was thermodynamics. He talked in a whisper directly at the board while he wrote in small scratchy letters. Made it out with a C.
