I've played pranks on my kid. At the point he CRIES though? Nope.
I have scared him to the point that he started to cry and then I am out! I immediately realize I AM a dick and I pick him up and hug him. To keep up with the fear or to film it is just mean.
"BatDad" is the dude who knows how to do this properly. Its getting Germans but his videos are good for a chuckle. And his wife and all of his kids indeed know that he is NOT Batman.
