.... I wish I was young enough to take advantage and utilize some of the things you younger people are going to have at your disposal in coming decades.

Plenty of video out there:

https://factschronicle.com/worlds-first-100-autonomous-human-jetpack-tested-in-an-incredible-stunt-is-it-practically-viable-21417.html

Incredible videos linked above.

Is this the most individualistic futuristic thing out there right now, or is there something better?

Would you use this en lieu of driving to work?

120 knot top speed, 35 mile range. You can't carry much, maybe a few piss balloons, a gopro, bottle of water and a granola bar. Not sure what emergency measures there are in case of engine failure, I didn't see a reserve chute anywhere.

Imagine a reserve chute won’t do much unless you can get to a certain altitude.

If I don't have to sit in between 2 fatties, I'm in. Do they sell them on amazon?

I've jumped out of a lot of planes in my life and I can relate to having 150-200 mph winds in your face .... but doing it for 35 miles, or roughly what, 10-12 minutes .... you'd be worn out and blast numb at the end of the trip.

I can’t imagine jumping. I feel like if I do, my throat and butthole will join up and everything in between will spray out all over the sky and dissipate before hitting the earth.

Are these things ran on jet fuel? I think it’s a great idea. Can you imagine not sitting in traffic in Baton Rouge or a big city going to work?

You won't freeze if you jump.

There is another level of fear you have never reached. At that level, your brain gets so focused you remember EVERYTHING you were taught.

What genetic characteristics do you think jet pack accidents will eliminate or enhance?
