The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019 includes more than 1,250 universities, making it our biggest international league table to date.

It is the only global university performance table to judge research-intensive universities across all of their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. We use 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons, trusted by students, academics, university leaders, industry and governments.

The calculation of the rankings for 2019 has been audited by professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), making these the only global university rankings to be subjected to full, independent scrutiny of this nature.

All variations of Ole Miss and Missouri came up empty. I'm assuming that means they're unranked. But that's based on an LSU education so who really knows.

ETA: Removed duplicate Auburn and added Vandy (first in SEC)

That's an attempted ranking which is way too ambitious. Different schools have different strengths. Some focus on undergraduate education, some on post graduate research, some on arts, and some on STEM professional programs. How do you make a quality judgment? Rating by program or location is more useful than an attempt to rank every college in the world on a single scale.

You type in the university name and it tells you where it is ranked

University of Missouri
401–500th World University Rankings 2018
414th US Rankings 2019

University of Mississippi
390th US Rankings 2019

To put those US rankings into perspective

University of Alabama
401–500th World University Rankings 2019
427th US Rankings 2019

The students at some of those universities (looking at you Cal, Berkeley) don’t seem like they’re very bright.
