Hell I'll give it a shot. Would be great to get that last bit of body fat down.

Dude, I'm telling you, it was the green beans that was my gamechanger. I seriously eat two cans of them for dinner along with my chicken or fish. It's filling, high in fiber, low in carbs, low in calories.

IMPORTANT!: MAKE SURE YOU GET THE UNSALTED CANS. You don't want a sodium bomb.

I hate canned vegetables or fruits. Might have to go the fresh green bean route...

If they are unsalted they don't taste bad at all. AND IT'S CHEAP. Each can is like 50 cents. You can stack up for an entire month for next to nothing.

Where do I find this info?

I workout like crazy, but my diet isn't the best. Currently at 6'2 220 and I want to get to around 200-210. I also drink too damn much on weekends.

Do you think this is a healthy diet?

A personal trainer gave me these tips.

Gotta stop having fun for now, brah. Just wait until some hot O-T 9.9 is drooling all over your washboard abs while her boyfriend cries in a corner texting his mother what's happening.

I have many friends that want to get ripped, but can't because their genetics suck. They are gym rats and follow strict diets.

People lie about this TREMENDOUSLY. They'd like you to think they're doing everything right, but 9 times out of 10 they're eating a bowl of ice cream every night and way underestimating how many cals they eat per day.

Self deception or repression. It's a natural defense mechanism. You convince yourself you're doing everything right (even though unconsciously you know You aren't) so you won't hurt your self worth. Everyone does it. I see it in fitness a lot though.

Breakfast: eat your healthy fats, protein, complex and simple carbs

Lunch: Healthy fats, proteins, complex carbs Limit carbs after 3 or 4 pm. (Awaiting "Broscience" responses).

Dinner: Lean protein and a can (or, in my case, 2 cans) of unsalted green beans.

Sounds like you changed your diet for the better. More times than not what people think is a particular "diet" doing work, is simply you being more conscious about your eating decisions, thus you tend to eat less and more healthily.

Don't take it as me bashing what the guy said, I've learned not to bash stuff that works, even if it's for a different reason than you may believe. At the end of the day it's not about what we know to be true, it's about what we believe to be true. It's why placebos work so well. Different strategies work for different people.

I was eating healthy before. It was the limited carbs after 4 that was different. Instead of brown rice or quinoa with my dinner, I just did the green beans.

I love green beans, so making them the dinner go-to was no problem for me.

I cut on 2600, working a desk job, and I am a 27/m 6'0 178 lbs who does lift and exercise.

Maintenance is around 3000-3100. Eating the 1600 calories like some people have discussed in this thread is disturbingly low.

I like the canned better than the nasty textured waxy shite. I cringe if they ain't soft.
