Racism/racist.....it doesn't mean anything anymore. If everything is racist then nothing is.

Mung = used to think of a plant

Munging = something totally different

This was back in high school though so I don't think it qualifies. It's rather a word I associate back and forth now without thinking about

"Troll" is a word that is changing shape quite a bit due to the internet.

It's both a noun and a verb now, for instance.

Troll was always a verb when referred to fishing, which is essentially what internet trolling is

Picks used to be something you mined with, now it's a photographic representation of your genitals.

no it ain't

I spend a lot of time trying to figure out stuff on here cuz a lot is code

and I believe the mother of invention was secrecy, in case someone grabbed the phone

the teacher or older person wouldn't have a frikkin clue what was being said

there is also brevity, shorter words = faster messages etc

Yeah. I understand every generation tries to be different and carve their own path, but "throwing shade" is both significantly longer than the one word verbs it's trying to replace and it takes what is typically a positive word as a negative. This is an epic failure in word smithery, but I mean actually epic, not slightly above average which is what epic has come to mean to today's utes.
