They staged this to say that GY was supported by white supremacists, the internet quickly ID'd these idiots as Dem workers/operatives, then the Lincoln project said it was their "protest" despite the fact that earlier in the day they acted as if they thought these were genuine supporters.

Something to do with the Charlottesville, VA, protest a few years back.
I don’t know WHY that was part of it but it was to the point where someone tried to cancel a hardware store who held a sale on tiki torches around that time.
