Wiff was trying to decide what shoes to wear to a "dressy cocktail" event next week. I suggested crocs. FML

But there is nothing hotter than a pretty, clean foot in a high heel

Well she could have been considering what shoes she had looked the best with her outfit and hurt her feet the least.
Also maybe she was considering if there would be dancing at this event, can she dance in the shoes she wore.
Or...how far will she have to walk from where her car is parked to the event? What will the weather be like? Will this event require lots of standing or mostly sitting?
And no one should EVER wear crocs unless they fit one of these qualifications:
1) they are 5 years old
2) they are gardening
3) they are on a boat
Only legit reasons to wear those horrible shoes.

Crocs make excellent house shoes

I'll allow it
Cause you technically aren't wearing them in public...just in the privacy of your own home.

It’s only in the last few years that I realized how awful and overpriced women’s shoes are. shite leather, glued soles, awful construction. A cheaply made disposable item sold at luxury prices.

What about the fabric Crocs that look loafer-ish?

Those look just like Sanuks
My husband has a pair of the Sanuks version that he bought years ago. Wears them after mountain biking to drive home or when camping. Says they are very comfortable.

The saga continues. We've moved on from shoes. Now trying to decide between two little black dresses.
