I totally get what u are saying.... Its like her husband is fb friending all these young hot girls that he doesn't know. Absolutely inappropriate. He doesn't need to friend then if he doesn't know them... Just asking for trouble

Don't understand this. I don't get on Facebook much anymore but when I do, it's not to scope out girls in bikinis. Maybe because I don't have 1000 friends on there.

And to clarify....the parents aren't staying with the child overnight

I won't even let my little girl do dance cause they put makeup on them

I know this chick that has a 12 year old and you'd swear they were besties instead of mother/daughter.
That's becoming more and more of a problem as to why kids are becoming such assholes IMO.

I agree with you fin.
After seeing my fb wall plastered with 50 million dance recital pics/posts/etc I swore if I have a girl she is not doing dance

#1 issue, IMO.
Parents are more interested in being friends than parents. That bleeds over to school too. But that's a different argument for a different thread.

Was hoping to see some good troll material on the comments section. I feel let down.

i get that a lot..
people are afraid to think outside of the mainstream.
it's so damn popular to be there that people think it's okay.
i don't and believe the entire facebook movement is stupid. just like twitter, instagram and all the other social media outlets.. #hashtag
i don't need to know what everyone thinks, is about to do, where they were or how they got there.
if you are on a trip and want me to see a pic, send me the pic.
i just don't get it.

My little girl is 4. I just got her a wiffle ball and one of those fat bats.
Yeah, she was interested in that for about 3 minutes. She swung a few times and said "I want to do something else."

that is fine
but some people enjoy seeing what their friends and family are doing, especially if they don't see each other that often
FB can be an awesome tool if used properly

my girls take ballet and only ballet..
no way in hell was I letting my little girl put on a scantily clad outfit and dance to hip hop on a stage with 2" of makeup on.
