Well, you're saying they were put in a position to overreact, and I am not sure what you're basing that upon.

Put in a position to =/= they did.

Again, I've been perfectly clear in what I thought happened that made it a good shoot (you even responded to that multiple times).

tgn12yearold is melting down because he's been called out on his BS multiple times in this thread and can't handle it. So he's trying to play "gotcha".

True. BUT generally not being a convict or a POS does help in situations with law enforcement. Right Johnny?

The "certainly happened yesterday" was in regard to leaving Capitol police hanging out to dry without any support, not calling in the National Guard beforehand so it doesn't escalate to the point it did. Pretty easy to understand I thought. Maybe not.

So now you're saying they didnt overreact but were put in a position to overreact....what would an overreaction be if they didnt actually overreact?

She's saying they were put in a position to overreact, not that they did overreact. It was in support of my assertion that I think they made the decision to just yield to the mob and let them in until reinforcements arrived.

Seems pretty clear to me.

So what would have an overreaction had looked like if they would have overreacted?

I'm saying the same thing I've said throughout this thread.

You're the one trying to move goalposts to save your own arse, sweetheart.

Then you're literally making up the idea that they "were put in a position to overreact."

Because you have no idea what the position was or the protocols in place.

I know the National Guard wasn't called in until well after the fact. And that it was left to Capitol police and the Secret Service to secure the US Capitol.

That's enough to know they didn't have enough security in place.

Who are FAR better trained than the national guard

Again, you're creating this problem for yourself.

But according to you all they shot an unarmed woman who shouldn't have been shot.

Which is it? They're trained well enough to handle the situation or not.

Holy moving goalposts.

So you're saying because the National Guard wasnt there the Capitol police overreacted?

I'm willing to bet the Capitol Police and SS have more tactile training than the National Guard

Exactly!!

But lets wait on the National Guard because they control the crowds at the Kentucky Derby and Final Four

I've already clarified on this. You're making this up. Again.

But you yourself said it was a "nervous cop" who shot this woman and that it was a bad shoot.

So which is it guys? They weren't capable of handling it or they were?

So they shot because they're a "nervous cop".

But you also just said they're fully capable of handling the situation.

You're not even worth having a discussion with at this point because you can't even stop moving the goalposts to suit your dumb agenda here.
