I hope. That is a lot of money for fees, costumes, throws, etc that will be just abandoned.

I doubt that it's Muses' call to make.

Mardi Gras is starting to become way too unsafe for people. Local government needs to start putting more restrictions on these events

Id imagine a lot of the tractor drivers are covering every parade.

City already doing the tough shite though (sarcasm).
Riders cant throw full bags of beads. Riders can get fined for not wearing full masks. Cant throw plastic off floats.

A kid got hit by part of a float in Bacchus a few years back. He got sent to the hospital. A friend that’s NOPD got the worst of it because he shredded his knee as he ran over to help the kid.

FINALY, someone with a bit of common sense. Thank You.
Also, this float was at the beginning of the parade, fully laden, moving at a snail's pace. If an axle broke it would move about 1 inch before coming to a complete stop.

An email to our float was sent out a few days ago that said its necessary to wear mask the entire route but especially when approaching Gallier Hall downtown.

Probably makes more sense to see if they can be allowed to follow Iris on Saturday...assuming there’s enough tractors and drivers available. Gives them a few days to figure it all out and less trouble for riders that have to take vacation days to ride
