Holman climbed into the back seat and freed herself through a rear door.

Had enough memory/sense to do this, but not go back up to the street and call 911, or flag another car going by?

They couldn't just say collar bone?

But Holman thought about it more and decided maybe she should stay put. "She was scared to leave that shelter,'

Well, this might've actually been smart at the time. Stay dry and warm and out of the elements.

I have a hard time believing she willingly stayed in the woods all night. She probably had someone come pick her up

I actually have a buddy who did just this. He was found the next day and charged with leaving the scene of an accident. But the cops found him a few hundred yards in the woods, sleeping like a baby.

That's one smart MILF

get drunk, drive, get in accident, get yourself "lost" to avoid field sobriety test/breathalyzer, claim head trauma/disorientated...brilliant

Have they interviewed the friend who's house she was supposedly at before the wreck?

Did the accident make her deaf too? You can hear a road for a long arse way. I understand being disoriented at night visually. But you can walk toward sound.

Did I miss why she didn't call 911 after the wreck and stay put?

No but she did explain taking off her wedge sandals to avoid an ankle sprain, that's funny, mentioned she had her phone in her purse but in 2 days never thought to call anyone

Because they'd arrest her for DUI.

I think she went into the woods to hide out to avoid DUI and left her phone at the car to backup the "concussion" story. Then actually got lost.

Ok the jig is up then. She got out of a DWI, no doubt about it.

I'm sure the police are well aware of this being a strong possibility. I just wonder if they will want to waste the time and resources to investigate and search phone records to try and get her to fess up. I know the only thing they can charge her with is leaving the scene but I'm sure a lot of money was spent with the search.

They’re going to paint this as a win for the community and law enforcement.

Zero chance they go after her for DUI.

If it falls under Pelham jurisdiction, I can assure you they will not.

700 ft is about 233 yards.

For the golfers.

I can hear someone scream at me from way farther than 233 yards.

The initial search focused on a 200-foot circumference of Holman's car

For those who know math, not Alabama people...obviously.

Circumference = 2pr...they searched 30' in either direction of her car to begin. 30 ft.
