Negative, I was comparing the people that shoot people to a dog

You can't even get home owner's insurance with most national companies if you own a pit or a Rottweiler. You can always lie but good luck filing a claim if they hurt someone. I wonder where the actuaries got the data to decide which breeds weren't worth the risk?

I’ve seen one whole thread on the O.T. Today about them killing a person. That likely correlates to be a majority of all pit bulls in existence. I guess what I’m getting at here is if every pit bull kills one or more people in their lives, which our stats on then o.t. have shown, can we be sure pit bulls aren’t suicide bombs?

Just like many other large dog breeds, such as German shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermans. If you haven’t noticed insurance companies enjoy limiting their risk and avoid paying out I dunno what I can teach you

Do you think that’s the possibility with having any large dog with potential issues be it training or whatever the frick else can be wrong with them?
If not why do breeds other than the one you are mentioning doing it too?

That happened a couple years ago in Mesa. A couple had their baby in a bassinet and their chow knocked the bassinet over and proceeded to eat the baby. I think both of the parents were actually police officers iirc.

I believe it. And I'm sure he was always a good dog that wouldn't hurt anyone...until he did.
I love dogs but I'm not oblivious to the fact that some breeds tend to be more aggressive. We have 2 labs that my girls got when they were 7. Labs and retrievers can get to 80 lbs yet you almost never read about them viciously attacking people.

Also that no matter the breed, you NEVER leave a dog alone with a baby or toddler.
All it takes is for the baby or toddler to grab the dog's ears or tail or try to grab their toy or food....and the dog can snap at the child.

I had one that tried to get my son a few years back, not that the damage would've been significant, but she sure tried.
