I'm going to go out on a limb and say Ice Cube and Dr Dre surpass you in both criteria.

Okay? Both are fairly popular music artists so they must be doing something right. Is that supposed to be an insult?

I do tend to agree with this
But should standing on your own porch you should get shot with a paintball gun?

It’s all good. Everyone, I think, is mad at the overreach, but people are talking over one another. BLM might feel it is systemic, partly because for most of this century, violence by police toward black people was disproportionate. That historical violence might not be directly related to recent incidents, but from their perspective, it’s easy and human to draw those conclusions that nothing has changed. Other demographic groups are only just beginning to interact with that overreach, which is an interesting clue as to the mindset of police, and who they see the enemy as. If police see all of us as the enemy, as their recent interactions seemingly show, then who exactly are they protecting?

Chill out. It was a paint ball.
Are we pretending that they can't cause serious personal injury/property damage?

It's your property though. I can see if she was in the street.

1) That title, while technically true, is misleading. She was not shot with an actual bullet, but a paintball (?). <-- This is not to make light of potential damage by a paintball, but it should definitely not be confused with a deadly shooting as the title seemed to imply.

2) Despite that, the officers were entirely in the wrong as that is private property, and they were not engaging in criminal behavior. Standing on your porch is not a crime. I'm not sure how curfews even factor in to such a thing, but I feel very confident in saying that as long as you're on your property, curfews can go frick themselves.

Because this was not abused here or ever before.

Let's say police pull up to your house to come into your house without a warrant and for no particular reason.

I am sure you will just do whatever they ask- because if you don't you are worried they will hurt your family, right?

What's the distinction between the guys with badges and those without here?

That’s good, keep them shiny with an eye toward the day you are given an order to turn them in and then you’ll have your opportunity to show everyone how to comply.
