So, next time you get bumped, don't feel excited about your $650 voucher and a meal ticket to Applebee's.
Plus, OT, we need to find out what Allison looks like, to see if sthat had something to do with the $10k offering.

A Washington, D.C. woman says she received a $10,000 travel voucher from United Airlines after she was urged to give up her seat on an overbooked flight. Allison Preiss adds United offered her the voucher following complications with her seat on a recent flight from D.C. to Austin.
“I never asked for a larger amount – the agent just escalated quickly,” she told The Washington Post Friday. United confirmed in a Friday email to The Post that “yes, we issued” Preiss “this voucher per our policy.” Preiss said her initial Thursday flight from D.C.’s Reagan National Airport to Austin was cancelled over a winter snowstorm. The D.C. resident then re-booked herself on a flight out of nearby Dulles, claiming the last open seat on a United flight that was ultimately overbooked.
“If nobody bites, they will kick off the lowest fare passenger by pulling them out of the boarding line,” Preiss tweeted Thursday of the overbooking. “For a flight THEY oversold. Unreal.” “I AM THE LOWEST FARE PASSENGER,” she added, before a United employee approached her about vacating her seat.
Preiss said she was initially offered a $2,000 voucher and the next available seat on another flight. The potential passenger asked, however, why she was asked to “sign a document stating that I volunteered my seat” when she was “involuntarily bumped.”
Preiss was then given a pamphlet saying airline regulations and federal law entitled her to $650, or four times what she paid for her ticket. The United agent next offered a voucher worth $3,000 or $4,000, Preiss continued, when she noted she wanted cash for her weekend in Austin. Preiss added that the airline employee eventually told her she could be offered up to a $10,000 voucher for her troubles.

I'm confused, is she happy about this or pissed about it? B/c it sounds like she is complaining about the fact that she just received a $10,000 voucher.

JAP
If I've ever seen one. I can hear her nasally drone now.

I’d pull her out of a boarding line

Well that's terrific news. United just gave her $10,000 worth of more overbooked flights, and I bet she'll get first priority consideration because she's not paying. Congrats!
Edit: Better not complain while "spending" the 10k or you'll get roughed up while being dragged off the filled-beyond-capacity airplane.

10k is pretty amazing - you could easily have 4 RT flights to Europe on that.

Exactly my point. If you ain't paying, you ain't flying.
Good news you'll get another useless $500 voucher when they kick your arse off yet another overbooked flight. Pretty soon you'll be a United voucher millionaire.

She's trying to figure out how to keep the $10k and still file some sort of civil liberties lawsuit.

Pic 1 reveals the cellulite on her lower legs and that face looks much uglier (and likely the most real) than the other two.
Pic 3 dress makes it look like those puppies are flabby when not supported.

Hell I just got back from Europe on a $420 RT ticket. You can fly to Europe once a quarter for multiple years for 10K

Jewish American Princess somehow leveraged insane deal AND also somehow got the lowest fare on the initial flight....SHOCKED. Even more shocking was the complaining about said amazing deal.

And yet you would still gladly hit it, unless you got a case of the ghey.

What does hitting it have to do with hearing (you don't know if she's a screamer) and sanity (never said take her to Applebee's or have conversation)?
