Yep
Same thing at Hartsfield in Atlanta. (Which is the busiest)

And don't you know some lawyer will take this case and make it the airports fault that this person entered a restricted area and got herself killed.

It won't be easy given Illinois is a modified comparative negligence state.

Open the book to "Attorneys" and it was page after page of lawyers------literally in the thousands in the N.O. area alone. Maybe it's finally reached the saturation point and they have to invent reasons to sue and bring cases to court to justify their existence. Between the Ambulance Chasers and Personal Injury lawyers that now have the ability to advertise, it's pretty clear many of them have no shame.

Also it’s gotten where even with frivolous lawsuits the corporations and insurance companies won’t even fight it unless the attorney is asking an exorbitant amount of money. It costs more in attorney fees to go to court and fight it than it does to simply settle out of court and the personal injury guys know it. So they take on shite cases, the insurance company calls on behalf of company X and says we will settle out of court for 50k we know this is bullshite so take the payday and leave us alone. It’s basically a shakedown. Personal injury attorney gets 50% of the payout and Yolanda gets her big payday for the fender bender in the parking lot and the money is blown in a month. Repeat cycle

The carousels that just make a loop and where your bag gets dumped (hopefully) in the baggage claim area do not run constantly.

While horrific, the ramp worker that was killed after her hair got caught in a belt loader seems like a worse way to go.
