if they would have just told no one, closed the island so no reporters are around to give here any attention, and completely ignore the bitch, that is what should be done. instead they make her the celebrity of the moment that she wanted to be when she did this.

Exactly, her point in doing it was to get attention. If everything would just go on as usual and ignore it, then people would have no incentive to do stupid shite.
