How many murders and robberies in NOLA have been committed this year by

Black men?
White men?
Asians?
Mexicans?

The fact is black men are disproportionately targeted and brutalized by cops

Nobody can really say that this isn't true.

But, also, let's be fully honest, here. Most of the time, as the facts are, it can be warranted. Men are much stronger than women, therefore, the police must use more force to handle them.

I would say that it is mostly due to there being no ongoing investigation since there was obviously no complaint, but that's just me

I don't think there was time to file a complaint.

The fact is black men are disproportionately targeted and brutalized by cops and this one particular woman tried to take advantage of the epidemic to save her boyfriend. It's just really unfortunate that when it's a false claim the police have no problem releasing the footage immediately but when the claim is legit all of sudden they aren't at liberty to release it

No that isn't the facts. The facts are:

- Black make up ~13% of the population. Then a conservative estimate is that black males are 6.5% of the population.
- Greater than 50% of violent crimes are committed by black males.
- A cop is more likely to be killed by a black male than a black male is likely to be killed by a cop.

Draw all of that together and can you see why unfortunately their culture has made cops significantly more "on edge" when dealing with black males. I mean is it so hard to follow the laws and abide by lawful commands? Look at the AS situation. Would he be alive now had he heeded the commands, not resisted arrest and not reached his hand towards a handgun that had been identified by the officers in his pocket?

That's great and all, but it doesn't mean that all police brutality claims are bogus.
How is that relevant to the OP?

Why are you deflecting from this specific story?

Proper police response to this was, "Oh well he got away". And leave him were he lay.
