I hear ya...I did actually have a chance at the Wrestling Circuit ...Those were the Best of times that you mentioned also...The Assassins, The Grappler, JYD etc....I was actually to be trained by a guy named Thunderbolt Patterson a really good guy....I didn't go that route because I had a job worth holding on to, without the numerous back surgeries these guys in wrestling would go through..

It was the best of time for wrestling, but the worst of times for wrestler's health. But i agree, life for a larger size guy is probably already a bit inconvenient..add in chronic pain and immobility in one's early 40s, that's bad situation.
I've heard of Patterson, he was fricked over A LOT. And mainly for having a mind of his own and some integrity.

You are correct, I love TBP....JYD was an awesome guy to know also...Bill Watts was an A-hole..his ilk in the Business was also a red flag to me entering the Circuit. It was all about him (Bill Watts).
