McDonalds was overheating their coffee so they can let it sit for a long time. I figured Starbucks would be more reasonable about it. We'll see what happens.

When I get coffee from a drive thru or at Starbucks I always check that the lid is securely attached. Who doesn't do that? That's just weird.

You are so right. The McDonald's lady was ridiculed. Those were people who did not see her injuries. Her groin area (including lady part) were all burned and scarred.
I admit when I first heard the McDonald's case I thought it was ridiculous. Then I saw the pics. I cannot even imagine the pain she went thru.
