My wife is more mechanically inclined than I am and I love her for it. She has an engineering gene. Her grandpa and cousin were/are both engineers. Her grandad built the C-130 at Lockheed.
I can still fix things, I'm just not the most handy with that kind of stuff.

That’s how it has been for me as well.
And neither of us in my marriage were offended by it. I love tinkering and fixing stuff (thanks Dad!) and he did not.
In fact- I have my own tool chest, and a vast assortment of tools.
Everyone in my house knows to ask first before just taking them.

Women leaving reviews for engines don't have husbands. They are the "strong independent" type.
I've come across this with tools. I'll be checking out a drill that I know is good and there will be bad reviews because someone doesn't understand clutch settings. They will be trying to drill holes with it set on the factory setting which is 1 and then complain it won't drill through wood.
Always best to isolate the negative reviews. You can usually read a few and tell if they are legit or left by idiots.
