Do you remember the place that was at the corner or river road and brightside? I think it flooded after one bad storm.

Was that Aspen heights?

I lived for two years on e. Boyd. It was awesome. Didnt have to get in my car except to drive to work at night or go to the grocery.

The best was i could get stumbling drunk at freds or bogies, walk home without the threat of getting mugged, and walk back to the car the next morning.

Plus gamedays were awesome. Pulled a lot of arse just because my house was walking distance.

Personally, I would live on or near east Boyd regardless of cost. It's the best place to live for LSU students. Walking distance to the bars, close enough for gamedays, traffic isn't as bad as say... Ben hurr

Yeah true

I went from:

University House Bside
Beau Chene
Brooke Hollow
House across from deaf school on brightside
Southgate
Southdowns

By a very large margin, the most fun was the house on Brightside. That shite was wild almost 24/7. Overall best was Southdowns.

I got out of Southgate when it started turning to shite. The month I moved out, my elevator hadn't been working for two weeks and many of the hallway lights needed replacement. Was nice up until that last 6 months

Parents know this is happening and they see the crime in the area.. so they are paying for their kids to live in the nice new places.
Thank God those kids will be toughened and ready to handle real life.
